The Principals

Elizabeth Goldstein Alexis earned a B.A. in Mathematics & Economics and History from Yale University and has completed coursework for the Ph.D. in Economics program at Stanford University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certificant and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Elizabeth worked at Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank) in New York for seven years as a senior member of the Global Equity Products group. Her responsibilities included managing the New York equity derivatives group, structuring investments for a wide array of institutional investors including pension funds and university endowments, helping high net worth individuals diversify concentrated stock risk and risk managing multi-billion dollar equity and derivative portfolios.

More recently, Elizabeth worked for E*TRADE Financial and in the product management and strategy area for several technology start up firms. She lives in Palo Alto with her Greek-Swiss husband and has two children who attend the Palo Alto public schools.

Jessica Liu Palmer earned a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the CFA Institute, and CFA Society of San Francisco (CFASF).

Her prior finance experience includes seven years with Wells Fargo Bank in a variety of positions, most recently as Managing Director and Head of High Yield Investments, where she was responsible for the portfolio management of $1.7 billion in bonds. Additionally, Jessica served as Vice President/High Yield Analyst and Relationship Manager in the international commercial lending division, Credit Analyst at Banque Nationale de Paris (in France), and was Assistant Representative to Taiwan for a French consulting company.

Jessica has lived and studied in Japan (seven years), Hong Kong (eight years), and France (two years). She currently lives in Palo Alto with her husband and two children. Community service involvement includes serving on the Board of Chinatown Community Children’s Center in San Francisco for eight years.
